STEM PROGRAMS AT WINNWOOD!

The Science of Roller skating is a unique STEM Lesson created by teachers and available at Winnwood Skate Center! Come experience the 3-hour private field trip program we offer with great STEM Concepts like Engineering, Force, Motion, Friction, Physics, Lighting, Sound, Newton's Law, and Health - each all found while roller skating! Discover our 12+ different interactive lessons, and how they are taught here by our STEM educator for grades K-12!

Our STEM lessons are now aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards!  These standards have been adopted by over 40 states and growing.  A goal for developing the NGSS was to create a set of research-based, up-to-date K–12 science standards. These standards give local educators the flexibility to design classroom learning experiences that stimulate students' interests in science and prepares them for college, careers, and citizenship.
